Southern Cape Branch

GeorgeMuseum1The Southern Cape branch of the Genealogical Sociatey of South Africa was established on 25 August 2012 in George.  
The area that the branch comprises strtetches from Plettenberg Bay in the East to Heidelberg in the west and inland the Klein Karaa from Uniondale to Barrydale.
The branch gathers every second month at the George Museum.  The Southern Cape branch is affiliated to the George museum as one of the Friends of the George Museum, which entitles the branch to the use of the facilities. 
The sources of the branch is also kept at the museum and is to the disposal of the members of the branch, enabling them in their research.
