The year-end breakfast of the Genealogy Society of South Africa (GSSA) Southern Cape branch, with national president Petro Coreesies-Brink as guest speaker was a wonderful and successful family affair on Monday moming at Kwagga Cuisine. Petro discussed the role of the GSSA in the family history of South Africa and showed in her excellent presentation, various ways to find and trace your family's history.

She also highlighted various projects and products of the GSSA, and demonstrated various ways in which the 13 branches of the society over South Africa assist members to do research. The Southern Cape branch of the GSSA will have its 2016 annual general meeting on 20 January 2016 at Pine Lodge in George at 12:30, with a lunch.
